Record Label

In 2007, in conjunction with long standing work colleague and friend, Mark set up the independent record label Ho Hum Records.

Ho Hum Records Ltd. was established in 2007 and offers a bespoke service to musicians, specialising in singer/song writer and electronica genres. The company consists of a record label, a publishing company with worldwide sync representation, a major record label distribution outlet, recording studios and a music production service.

Operating from studios in both Bath and London, company directors Alex Pilkington and Mark Tucker have collectively over 40 years of experience in music creation, both in the UK and abroad. Over this period, they have accumulated many accolades and have earned a good reputation within the music industry. Equally important are the many wonderful people we have had the good fortune of working with over the years; musicians, A&R, promoters, radio, press, TV, publishing, film and many more.

Ho Hum Records also has a publishing division, Ho Hum Music Publishing, which is connected to Westbury Music Publishing whom administer the catalogue, whilst ADA Warners deal with it's distribution. For music synchronisation, Ho Hum works with professionals in the UK, Australia and US to procure licenses for it's works and also recently joined with Brazilian record label & marketing company Loop Reclame.

The company prides itself on producing high quality productions using a combination of analogue and digital equipment and on the website only sells audio at a lossless high resolution format. Ho Hum undertake work on a per project basis, dependent upon what an artist requires and how we feel we are best placed to help them progress.
